A beautiful drought tolerant woody perennial valued for its finely dissected, aromatic, silver-gray foliage. An excellent addition to borders and cottage gardens. A perfect companion to vibrant flowering plants and ornamental grasses, adding uniquely contrasting color and texture to waterwise landscapes.
Requires lean to average, very well-drained soils; avoid extremely lean, heavily fertilized, or soggy soils. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Do not overwater; allow the top few inches of soil to dry slightly between intervals. Prune back in late spring to rejuvenate and promote dense growth.
