The Meyer Lemon Plant is a fun and newer version of the classic Meyer Lemon Tree. This is a great patio plant to pot up and bring indoors in colder climates. This tree is self-fertile and can bear fruit sometimes within 1 year. Needs well drained soil, consistent watering, and at least 6 hours of full sun a day to really thrive. The Meyer Lemon has a one of a kind scent and you can harvest the beautiful, fresh fruit February-March.
Requires well-drained soil. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Watering can be reduced after establishment. Feed with a citrus fertilizer in spring; repeat in fall.Pruning time: winter.
