Lamb’s ear has long, silvery foliage reminiscent of its’ name, that forms a soft, low, dense spreading mat. Makes an excellent border or adds a unique silvery contrast to any perennial garden.
Provide average, moist, well-drained soil. Water deeply, regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system; once established, looks best with light, regular moisture, but tolerates drier soils. Control weeds until the plants have filled in. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer.
