The Scarlet Quince, has a profusion of bright 2" scarlet flowers that provide a magnificent display of early spring color in the garden. Large, double, Camellia-like flowers have yellow centers and layers of overlapping petals. Its dense, spreading habit makes it ideal as a specimen, espalier, or hedge. Gorgeous in a cottage garden or even a naturalized border. Relatively carefree, Scarlet Storm has no thorns or fruit, and is drought tolerant once established.
Prefers average, well-drained soil. Full sun will produce the most blooms
